I was cleaning out my fictionpress.com account (apparently there's people on there, taking the work there), and I found this lovely poem in there, so I thought I'd share it with you guys. =)

Take one step forward
Hold my hand
Your foot is sinking, sinking
Into the ocean ridden sand
Take another step forward
Look back

Breath taking kiss
Blood pounding touch
Feelings, feelings
Flooding through and through
One thing is certain

Leaving home
Pictures and pictures
Smiles, tears, laughter
First ever failure
First ever success

Dissolving quickly once you move
Disappearing with the waves
Disfigured and blunt
But sad and beautiful
All at once
