why i don't attempt DIYs too often...

So after swim practice one day, one of my friends pulls out this really cool T-shirt she DIYed. It was cropped, but fringed and she beaded the fringers. It looked so cool, and I kept wanting to do it. So today, while I was bored and couldn't do anything (swim meet tonight!), I thought I'd attempt to do it on a really old American Eagle shirt I had... Suffice to say, it didn't turn out horrible (especially for the first attempt!) but I am obviously not a very good DIYer =) I found directions how here.

Before (kind of) Can you tell I made a slight mistake by cutting into the side? Heh
After I drew the line up too high.. Ahh and my lovely stomach...
The Mistake Outcome... Nice little (read LARGE) gap there... I'll remember this for next timeNow hopefully when I do it for real, I won't make the mistake so mcuh... Heh
